After all they're cute! All puppies are! Must you pay a whole lot, and in some cases, thousands of dollars for one? Actually not! The offspring of a mating between purebred canine of different breeds is a mongrel, a mutt. And when you've got one, it is best to love it, practice it and look after it as if it had the bluest blood of the canine kingdom.
Each canine breed, and there are a whole lot on the earth, was "created" by humans. Every breed was developed for a particular objective - whether or not that unique job was guarding the flock or being the perfect lap-dog. There's no motive that development shouldn't continue.
